Shifter is expensive, although as you said,your paying for entire assembly. Also, as compared to the Barton price & what's included there's no comparison. It is more expensive than the others available, but the only one that is basically the entire assembly. The cast aluminum, OEM base/housing is replaced. The only things that are reused are a mounting bar, the secondary linkage and thermoplastic pivot cup. The pre-release price I paid was $325. I believe I've seen in forums that it is going to be $375, but I would call MGW for an accurate price.
